Extract

Fundamentals of Plastic Surgery, written by Marks and Marks, contains significant core information regarding plastic and reconstructive surgery. These 2 authors represent contrasting backgrounds, one a board-certified plastic surgeon and the other a thoracic and vascular surgeon with a PhD in anatomy. Although this book contains minimal new information, it is an excellent resource for medical students and residents. The chapters are written with clarity, and the black-and-white illustrations, graphs, and tables deserve commendation.
