Breast Cancer by Roses is a hard-bound, 8½×11-in text with 688 glossy pages. It is a compilation of 34 chapters covering usual topics such as screening, diagnosis, pathology, and different aspects of multimodality treatment. Importantly, it includes chapters on newer subjects such as oncogenetics of breast cancer, prevention, molecular and cellular biology, hormonal influences on oncogenesis and growth, molecular pathologic assays, sentinel lymphadenectomy, and genetic counseling. Sixty-six authors who are notable authorities in their areas contributed. In short it is attractive, up-to-date, and written by credible individuals.
