McCue synthesizes practice information generally obtained only from diverse throwaway journals and practice management consultants. He incorporates this information with the insights of a physician.
The three sections of this book cover (1) finding and evaluating a practice, (2) information for the new solo practitioner, and (3) information for all practitioners. In the first section, the author discusses such diverse topics as geography, climate, migration data, and physician-patient ratios.
