LITTLE DID Bowditch, the pioneering Harvard physiologist, know of the explosion in science and medicine that is taking place in the 20th century. The July issue of the Archives marks the 75th anniversary of the journal: volume 1, No. 1, was published in July 1920. Initially the journal was published bimonthly so that there were three issues in 1920. Monthly publication began in July 1925.
