In 2013, the theme will be Surgical Care of the Aging Population. Our surgical population is aging as so many patients are living longer and are fit to undergo both minor and major surgical interventions. We want manuscripts describing techniques and approaches that uniquely address the needs of the geriatric patient population in all specialties–general surgery, vascular surgery, surgical oncology, transplantation, cardiac surgery, and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
