RT Journal A1 Schulick RD T1 THe resident's corner JF Archives of Surgery JO Archives of Surgery YR 2007 FD March 1 VO 142 IS 3 SP 218 OP 218 DO 10.1001/archsurg.142.3.218 UL http://dx.doi.org/10.1001/archsurg.142.3.218 AB In this issue, we have published the first article1 in a new series to be run as “The Resident's Corner.” In this series, we stipulate that the first author be a resident in training at the time of submission of the manuscript. We encourage the submission of short articles limited to 1000 words and no more than 3 figures. We are considering any appropriate short article but envision mostly interesting case reports, small case series, historical reviews, summaries of recent developments in surgery, and laboratory studies. The review process is supervised by the editorial staff of the ARCHIVES and coordinated by 2 resident editors (currently Jayme Locke, MD, and Jordan Winter, MD, who are senior residents at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions). We plan to incorporate peer reviews from other residents nationally and globally.
