I would like to bring to your attention the need for the ARCHIVES to post a revised version of an article we published in 2005—“Effect of Surgeon and Hospital Characteristics on Outcome After Pyloromyotomy” (2005;140:1191-1197). The authors used a large database that required them to sign an agreement with 14 bullet points of stated assurances. Number 4 stated that any time the number of observations was less than or equal to 10, no specific number would be used. Instead, “<11” would be listed. In Table 2, this occurred 8 times.
