AB This volume records the proceedings of the International Symposium on Renal Neoplasia held in Brasilia, Brazil, in the fall of 1965. It consists of a series of papers that include presentations on renal cancer in man, renal structure and function, experimental and etiologic aspects of renal cancer, surgery of renal cancer, and adjuvant therapy of renal cancer.Most of the book is clinically oriented, and there is a total of 26 chapters written by different authors. The discussions of each presentation follow the particular paper, and the papers are supplemented by good bibliographies. This is not a book for the average medical student, but it would seem a worthwhile reference for urologists and residents in urology, as well as those interested in various aspects of neoplasia.
