AB Warthin's tumor is a relatively uncommon tumor. It was first described by Albrecht and Artz1 in 1910. In the literature, this neoplasm has been described under various terms such as adenolymphoma, papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum, papillary cyst adenoma, onkocytoma, orbital inclusion adenoma, and branchiogenic adenoma. Thompson and Bryant2 could find at least 20 synonyms. The term Warthin's tumor is most commonly used because of brevity. In 1929, Warthin3 described two cases of this tumor located in the parotid gland and since then his name has been associated with this tumor by American authors. Warthin's tumor is found more commonly in the white race. Davies et al,4 reviewing salivary gland tumors in Uganda, did not encounter a single case, whereas they observed eight cases of 80 salivary gland tumors in Sheffield, United Kingdom.This report presents a study of 12 cases of Warthin's tumor seen at the Tata
