AB • We report a case of cutaneous Rhizopus infection associated with the use of an elasticized adhesive tape (Elastoplast) bandage over a surgical wound. At the present time, it is recommended that such dressings not be used on open wounds.(Arch Surg 114:738-739, 1979)
