In regard to my articles published in the Archives of Surgery1 and the European Journal of Radiology,2 I would like to convey to the readers that these are 2 different studies. The institute, author group, magnetic resonance imaging equipment, and methods are the same in both studies. The design, time frame, materials, outcome, results, and tabular expression of the findings are different. However, in the introductions and discussions, we used identical wording in the explanation of the concept of magnetic resonance spectroscopy and in the description of previous studies. We should have reworded these sections of text. It was an inadvertent error, and I, on the behalf of our investigative team, hereby apologize for any inconvenience caused to your esteemed journal.
