Jonathan R. Hiatt, MD, received his medical degree from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Dr Hiatt is certified by the American Board of Surgery, with a special certificate in surgical critical care. He is presently a professor of surgery and serves as Chief of the Division of General Surgery and Vice Chair for Education in the Department of Surgery at UCLA. His interests include acute care surgery, trauma, and surgical education.
