TY - JOUR T1 - FUndamentals of plastic surgery Y1 - 1999/02/01 N1 - JO - Archives of Surgery SP - 218 EP - 218 VL - 134 IS - 2 N2 - The chapters on skin grafting, flaps, tissue expansion, microvascular techniques and cleft lip/palate repairs are particularly well written and designed. The chapter on burns contains fundamental information that would be of less interest to practicing, experienced surgeons. The fundamentals of laser therapy (including biophysics) and its utilization, are both timely and needed. The chapter on head and neck surgery is designed to be of less depth in comparison with the remainder of the book; it does not carry the basic multidisciplinary approaches to diagnosis and management. Overall, the authors adhere to their theme of dealing with fundamentals. SN - 0004-0010 M3 - doi: UR - http://dx.doi.org/ ER -
