N2  - In recent years many case reports of choledochal cyst have appeared in the literature.1-43 In general, it has been that the Roux en-Y drainage is the treatment of choice. Because of the rarity of this condition and the successful result of sphincterotomy, cholecystectomy, Cattell-tube drainage, and plastic closure of the common duct, it is felt wise to report this case.Report of Case 
    A 44-year-old, married white woman was admitted to St. Mary's Hospital April 20, 1956, with a chief complaint of severe pain in the epigastrium. The patient had had recurrent bouts of right upper quadrant pain suggestive of gallbladder attacks, starting at the age of 10 years. There was no history of jaundice.The patient had been known on previous roentgen examination to have nonvisualization of the gallbladder and "poor emptying of the stomach."The pertinent findings on examination at the time of admission to St. Mary's
